Here's how to get started.

You are here.

Schedule a phone call or a meeting so we can get to know each other. We'll determine the scope of your project and follow up with a proposal.

To make the most of your first project with us, these are just a few examples of questions you'll likely be asked. The more thoughtfully you answer these questions, the better your project will turn out. We encourage you to offer any insight, guidelines, examples or recommendations that will help us stay on track with your goals.

Questions you might want to consider:
  • What is your company's mission statement?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • What need are you trying to fulfill in this market?
  • What are your key selling points?
  • Who is your competition?
  • What differentiates your brand?
  • If you could say only one word about your product or service, what would it be?
  • What are people's current opinions of your company?
  • What are its strengths and weaknesses?
  • What is the purpose of the project you'd like us to design?
  • How does it figure into the scope of your marketing strategy?
  • What is the key message you want to communicate?
  • Can you reference any previous successful design solutions or campaigns you have used?
  • What emotions do you want this design to trigger?
  • What response or call-to-action is needed?
  • How will you gauge success for this project?
  • Is there a particular approach you would like us to explore?
  • Have you done any market research?
  • What is the expected reach?
  • How long do you expect it to be effective?

  • Tools you might want.

FTP access. We might need to share some large files. You might want us to use some photos from your last company picnic in the brochure. Anything you want to send that's larger than 5MB should be uploaded to our FTP site.

If you don't already have one, you'll need to download an FTP client (aka software). We recommend Transmit for Mac users. However, Cyberduck is a free download for Mac, and FileZilla is free for Windows. We'll square away the login details when we get there.
