Project: BSides Rochester is a cybersecurity conference in Rochester, New York. The Flower City, whose icon is the white lilac flower, seen in the background, has iconic structures juxtaposed with history. We reprised the downtown Art Deco building for this year’s logo, we included the iconic bridge seen in most photos of the city, and we added the old Erie Canal bridge which has its own checkered history caught between capitalism and populism. The gear and film also represent the home of Eastman Kodak.
